Scrapbook Page Ideas With Alphabet Scrapbooking Stickers
When I'm stuck for scrapbook page ideas one of the things I really love to do is play with alphabet scrapbooking stickers. Mixing and matching alphabet stickers can set the mood of your page and in this case, create a sense of fun.
In this page layout I have mixed some plain letters of varying sizes and colours. I have also used a brown pen to outline the edges of the orange stickers to make them stand out a little more.
I have also thrown in two rectangular letters to create a point of difference and add interest to the page.
The mixture of the different shapes, sizes and colours is tied in well with the theme of the rest of the page and draws the viewer's attention.
Next time you are stuck for scrapbook page ideas for dressing up your page, pull out all your alphabet stickers and play with your title. You'll end up with a great effect and will have had a lot of fun in the meantime!

Scrapbook Page Ideas - Creative Matting
When coming up with new scrapbook page ideas I often turn to my scrapbook papers for inspiration. Quite often they are all I need to get the creative juices flowing and create a stunning layout.
For this page, I turned to a bright collection of Chatterbox papers. I love bright colours but when using them, you have to be careful that your photos and embellishments don't get lost in an overwhelming background.
The easiest way to prevent that from happening and make your photos stand out is to use strong matting techniques. For example, on this page, I have matted my photo first with a white mat to give it a light edge, then with a red patterned paper for interest and then with a strong dark blue to ensure it stands out from the background.
My using multiple contrasting mats you are literally saying to the viewer "Hey, my photo is here! Look at it!" Your page may be busy and colourful, but your photo still stands out.
This is a very easy yet very effective technique. When you are sitting down to scrap today, think about how to incorporate it into your scrapbook page ideas and let me know what you've come up with. I'd love to hear from you!

Scrapbook Page Ideas - Tulips
Great scrapbook page ideas don't have to be difficult. When your photos are engaging in and of themselves, you really don't need to embellish them very much. A splash of colour, a simple and pretty pattern and a handful of simple embellishments is enough to make your photos shine.
On this page I grouped my photos together in the centre of the page to keep the emphasis on them. I then framed them with some pretty Chatterbox paper (the plain orange is the underside of the floral paper). Then all I needed to add was a title and some simple embellishments.
One thing to note is a technique I often use. I cut out two of the flowers from the patterned paper and used them as embellishments. I did this because I thought they were pretty and deserved some attention, but more importantly because it created a sense of continuity across my page.

Scrapbook Page Ideas - Daisy
This is another scrapbook page idea that I love. Here, I have used 3 Bugs In A Rug paper to show off my pictures of Daisy. I have used the flower patterned paper to create a border across the bottom of the page. I cut it to follow the contour of the flowers inked the edges to help it stand out. I also placed brads in the middle of each flower to help it pop a bit. It is quite a large border and draws a lot of attention to the bottom of the page. To balance it I cut a thin striped border to put across the top of the page. By balancing these visual elements I have put the attention back onto the photos. I hope you like this page. If you have any comments, I'd love to hear them!
Scrapbook Page Ideas - Country Bears
This is one of my recent layouts. I love it because I managed to incorporate so many different scrapbook page ideas into it without taking too long to finish it. My favourite element is the combination of lots of different letters to make up the title. By combining different sizes and fonts I've made the page a little more playful. Almost all of the letters used were alphabet stickers so it was also very fast to create. I hope you like it. I'd love to hear what you think.
